Master Plan for planting about 300,000 trees at Sirindhorn International Environmental Park in Petchaburi Province 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　(in the southeast area of Thailand)


	Planting 297,200 Seedlings in 497 rai of five kinds of land area
	1.　Beach Forest: 47,480 Seedlings in 118.7 rai 2.　Mangrove Forest: 150,000 Seedlings in 30 rai 3.　Lowland Forest: 50,920 Seedlings in 127.3 rai 4.　Wetland Forest: 8,800 Seedlings in 22 rai 5.　Highland Forest: 40,000 Seedlings in 200 rai
	* Starting the project with programs of planting seedlings in the vast area of Sirindhorn International Environmental Park (288 ha) based on the master plan. Along the plan, various kinds of suitable trees will be planted in the five vegetation areas in the park. * The Sirindhorn Park, as an environmental learning center, provides precious opportunities for a lot of school children to learn about the importance of tree planting with an actual experience of joining the tree planting activities at the park. * From the second year, promoting to plant trees at the other places around Thailand

	The Sirindhorn International Environmental Park Under the Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn


	There are five kinds of vegetation areas in the park. As the planting going on, the park will be able to function as an environmental learning center, where people can learn about the natural environment of Thailand practically. Since HRH Princess Sirindhorn hoped to have visitors from around the world, the park was called Sirindhorn International Environmental Park.


	Under HRH Princess’s great leadership, a project of improving a huge devastated land and tree planting has started. With continuous efforts for years, beautiful mangrove forests were revived. There still remains wider area for further mangrove planting .



	A lot of school children visit the Environmental Education Center with exhibition rooms on various themes of environmental issues, set up at the administration center. There is also a site for tree planting around the center
